Pando Daily
Pando Daily – Data Visualization Project
This was a project for PandoDaily, an online magazine that cover the start-up industry. The map, produced by Simran Khosla, Jesse Kipp and myself with the help of a developer (Jonathan Soma) was created to visualize the history of startup systems through the Silicon Valley mafias.
D3 javascript libraries were used to map out the relationship between former employees of Fairchild, Netscape, Oracle and PayPal.

We also created a Google Fusion Table based template of the visualization so PandoDaily could continue to map “families” that are key parts of the start up ecosystems.
